This Unit made my brain almost explode especially on the Boomerang style with the use of Role play cards , however, it helped me imagine the scene of myself teaching this style to my future student and I had to asked myself, how would I use this style to make my student attentive and cooperate in my lesson? Its quite challenging but I think I did it. I also learned the things I must remember in choosing a coursebook or even the authentic materials and created materials and its advantages and disadvantages for me as a teacher and for my students.This unit discussed the different types of past tense verbs. As with the other unit in verbs, I found much of the information to be interesting as I do not usually categorize verbs based on tense.
I am continuously surprised at the complexity of the English language. As with the rest of the English language there are a set of rules that work for the majority. However, I was unaware that there were so many verbs that fell outside of these rules. As the unit mentioned, I believe that the many exceptions will make learning certain words difficult.
