This unit was about Past Tenses. From studying this unit I feel that I am getting a better understanding of English grammar tenses. The previous unit where Present tenses were discussed meant that I found this unit easier to understand as I have learnt the concepts behind, continuous forms, perfect forms and perfect continuous. Though I still look to the grammatical structure of each tense to work out which tense it is that I am trying to understand. For example past continuous being - subject + was/were + verb + ing (for a positive tense). I found the video again very useful in getting a better understanding of the different past tenses. Its examples for students activities was very helpful.
I found this unit both interesting and what will be very useful for teaching. I think with more time and study I will have a sound knowledge of the tenses and feel comfortable in teaching them.
