Unit 5 comprehensively tells me about how to effectively manage a class as a teacher. It tells me about maintaining discipline among the students with different personalities. In addition, it made me realize certain factors which should be considered in teaching such as eye contact, gesture, and the voice. I came to know about how to group students, as well as the suggested seating arrangements. As a teacher, I also need to consider students' talking time. I need to see to it that students are given equal opportunity to express themselves and to be acknowledged. Finally, I have to consider varied activities to ensure that these learners can practice the English language with confidence and with an equal chance and attention. Generally, I learned tips on how to manage a class, and that a teacher can actually do it effectively when given the factors in a teaching- learning environment.
