The contrast between the two lessons was helpful in seeing in real life some good and bad examples of what may happen in an English classroom during an ESA lesson. It is very true that a teacher's attitude can and will affect the entire classroom; this is why it is so important for the teacher to maintain a positive, encouraging, and engaging attitude throughout the lesson. It is also important for the teacher to remember what are effective and ineffective practices in the classroom.I learned about course books and lesson materials in this unit. The factors involved in analyzing a course book for myself include the price, availability, design, methodology, skills, difficulty, syllabus, topic, teacher's guide and ancillary materials. Authentic materials are just about anything a native speaker could hear or read, such as programs, magazines, newspapers, songs, poems, brochures, menus, or films on video. I also learned the course book advantages and disadvantages.
