Productive skills are the output of receptive skills. Regarding of this unit, it contains important lesson plan to inspire teachers using many interesting approaches like drilling, role play, debates and communication games to motivate the students applying the productive skills. Practice makes prefect. Using a good way motivate the students to practice more which can strengthen their confidence at the same time. The guidelines of speaking activities is very clear and useful. This unit also encourages me applying more games in my lesson plan.This unit covers the phonetic spelling as well as pronunciation. This unit explains the various ways in which to teach this topic, and how important it is to students to learn the proper pronunciation while learning another language. I learned the various symbols of the phonetic alphabet which proved to be challenging, but intriguing. I also enjoyed learning how the different parts of the mouth influences the sounds that we make. As a native English speaker, it isn't common to think about how we form the words or sounds, so it was useful to learn.
