This unit has proved to be a challenge. From answering the multiple-choice version of testing this unit I have learnt that this unit will need to be tested in a different form it is too detailed to test as multiple choice. I learnt how to differentiate between the three present tense sentences and how the negative form of each of these is constructed and used. Identifying and correcting common mistakes is easier than asking which sentence is of which form.This unit pulled from previous units, especially for receptive skills. It was a pleasant reminder of activities which are best suited to certain situations. The tips for first lesson activities and warmers were most valuable.
I am inspired to get creative with my materials and employ variety in the classroom. It also reminds us to be sensitive to the needs of our students/clients and to pay keen attention to the diversity (ability) we may be faced with .
