This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I have received valuable information on variety of methods and techniques. I have never heard about most of them and I have found it amazingly simple, nevertheless effective in a way of implementation. All, that teacher should use are imagination and a bit of plain materials like blackboard, chalks and paper with pencils. In my point of view, the main feature of ESA method is universality. ESL teacher could apply ESA almost on every level of language, excluding upper-intermediate and higher, I suppose. The thing is that the more language your students acquire, the more subtle way of teaching you should follow, so as to meet their needs. Overall, I have found this unit both informative and easy to follow. There are a lot of examples for every ESA stages with hints for teachers with no or little experience. I am looking forward to implement this methodology in my tutoring.
