I enjoyed this Unit. It gave me more of an understanding on how to be a calm, helpful presence in the classroom. I know learning a foreign language can be tough, especially on younger students, and it is important to create a class environment that will keep their attention as well as make them excited to learn. Also, younger children can have some behavior issues. It is important to remain calm and cool in these situations as children tend to feed off your energy and will usually follow your lead.This unit continues the last unit on the different languages skill of language, only focuses on the productive skills of speaking and writing. It introduced a lot of interesting strategies in order to get students to produce English during lessons. It covered some potential problems when trying to get students to practice speaking or writing such as getting them to use proper penmanship of characters they may not be comfortable with, and this lesson also introduced some good activities and games.
