Overall what I have learned from this unit is how it all started with the diffrent teaching method, and then in the end it was all gathered to one particularly method called ESA, which is used in this TEFL course. What that person did was taking all the methods that teachers experienced what worked, and gathered it to three stages called engage, study and activities. I have now learned how tho use that teaching methods and when it is more suitable to make a boomerang, pathwork or straight arrow pattern lesson.This unit focused a lot on different forms of recording your lesson, and I think that it will definitely be beneficial because you will know exactly what you did, how you did it, what you expected, what actually happened, the timing and general process of each activity, and it will ultimately keep you organized while you are giving the lesson. I think it is important to be flexible because you never really know exactly what will happen. I also think that having sequenced lessons is a good idea for hard topics.
