The future tense is very complex because it has many different tenses and ideas to illustrate with future meanings. The future tense uses the present tense to apply future meanings too. For instance, the present simple and the present continuous tenses are used for future applications and the present continuous tense is one of the most frequently used tense to talk about the future. Although it sounds complicated, each tense has its own usage and therefore we can emphasize the different usage to help students distinguishing the difference and apply these tenses to daily life.Listening and reading are called receptive skills. They include some other skills like: scanning - when we are looking for a specific information in a text, or skimming - when we are trying to get a general understanding of the text or dialogue. It is beneficial for the students to learn an ability to deduce the meaning of some individual words or phrases. It is advisable to pre-teach only the words that are necessary for understanding the text/dialogue. Getting to know students and their interests is a great help with chosing the right topic and keeping the students engaged.
