This unit took much of my time to be completed. It mainly because of the diversity of the given topics as provided basics on the course development area. The multiple topics covered were discussing the aspects of layouts and running the business English course. Assessing the students/clients on their language abilities and their future needs has been followed by developing a course syllabus in this unit. The critic on this section beside the informative shares was that some parts were not covered in the given units. Therefore it should be searched through the other available sources.Based on Unit 2, an educator could conclude that basic knowledge of grammar is very important when teaching English Language Learners. I agree with the statement in the introduction to this unit, which states that, ?If you do not know anything, you are likely to lose the confidence of your students.? Referencing my experience teaching ELL to adults, I can support this claim. When a teacher possesses basic knowledge, and has access to materials necessary for the more difficult concepts, students are able to maintain confidence in their teacher and grow in their language skills.
