This unit discussed the difficulties a teacher may have during their first lessons. It also discussed how to establish rapport and different \"warming activities\" that you can use to get students to warm up to the class. It also talked about what to do when you have a large class size and how to deal with reluctant students.This unit tells us how to deliver new vocabulary, grammar and other language concepts effectively in the classroom. We can apply the ESA method to teach new language. We can use Straight Arrow ESA structure, Boomerang ESA structure, or Patchwork ESA structure. This unit gives clear explanations of the purpose of each of the three stages involved in ESA method: the Engage stage, the Study stage and the Activate stage, as well as various activities that can be beneficial within each one.
