Managing a class involves many factors that a teacher has to be aware of. Some factors are personally managed such body language (gestures and eye contact), position and manner in the classroom (standing, sitting, walking around), and using student names. The teacher has to consider many class factors such sitting arrangement, which grouping is better for each activity, how to give out instructions, and student discipline. Its best for teachers to know themselves and see what is comfortable for them to do and will work well for student motivation.This is a veritable treasure trove of resources. I couldn't be happier, although I wish some of these were available earlier in the lessons since it would have saved me a lot of trouble searching for online resources. Some of this information is quite dated, although it might still hold true for some extremely impoverished countries. For example, the cassette is a relic most people under 25 will not recognize. I am glad that its potential use is still outlined lest an unwary student in this online course find themself facing it in the near future.
