This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Parts of speech are essential units of the English language. I do have some knowledge about parts of speech but I realized that there are still a lot of important rules that I discovered and learned in this unit. I don't have much knowledge about the use of definite article 'the' in the sentence. I used to say \"The snakes are scary' instead of 'Snakes are scary'. This unit has taught me that definite article 'the' is NOT used when referring to something in a general sense. I also learned the use of 'much' and 'many' (countable and uncountable nouns). With most one-syllable comparative adjective, we add -er and with most one-syllable superlative adjective, we add -est. With most 2 or more syllable adjectives, we form comparative with 'more' and the superlative with'most'.
I love my new learnt parts of speech rules and from now on, I will use them in my daily conversations to practice.
