Through Unit 4, I have learned how important the content of a lesson is to how the lesson should be held. Vocabulary, Grammar and Language Functions all have different different ways they can be presented. While grammar and vocabulary are the surface of a language, and their clarity makes them often suitable for straight arrow lessons, Language Functions are a less obvious facet of language and may need a boomerang or patchwork lesson to have students be able to use the functions competently.The present simple tense, The present continuous tense , The present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous Are interesting forms of tense to learn about . But I feel they are only interesting to learn to the one who is interested in learning it .
Honestly I feel that the entire English language can be learned thoroughly without having to learn all these different forms of tenses.
I feel it may be a bit of a drag and unnecessary study for the learner of English language .
