This unit discusses equipment and teaching aids in the classroom. I learned that interactive whiteboards are more common in recent years and require a lot of preparation. Overhead projectors were the aid of choice when I was growing up and there was many disadvantages to them, so I'm glad to see new technology emerge for use in the classroom. It's really important to use technology that helps the students connect to their material as it will encourage them to learn.I don't imagine ever teaching phrasal verbs to students, as I myself don't really understand their importance. There are many intricacies to the English language, and a lot of basic grammar that is important for basic and clear communication. As students reach higher levels and seek more complex ways to express themselves, communicate, and understand the world around them, these grammar patterns are useful and helpful for their English exploration and comprehension.
