This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The unit gives a list of equimpent for classrooms. It describes usage, advantages and dissadvantages of most common facilities. The purposes of visual aids, worksheets and work cards are also discussed in the unit. However the role of dictionaries, course books and resource books is stiil significant. There are plenty of up-to-date resources in the unit.
What I learned from the unit is that students should be provided by instructions how to use dictionaries and \"how to get most from them\".In this unit, the study material is about 3 different ways to assess a student's language level, which are tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests.
Tests, as one of the most important methods of assessment, is open to be given at different stages in a course. As a teacher, we need to give a periodic progress test. There are placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests and practice tests that are being introduced clearly in this unit to evaluate students' level and progress.
