I liked the compare and contrast of the videos. They were very clear as to how to go about making a classroom more open to learning just by doing a few simple things as a teacher. It can be hard to engage the students, but if the teacher is happy and positive then the students will feel less intimidated and will want to keep trying. If the student feels like they aren't ever going to understand something it's up to the teacher to keep encouraging the to do better. Being positive and happy and showing the students that you actually want to be there is a great place to start. This unit covered the 4 past tenses in the English language (past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous). It showed the differences and usages that helped me better understand their usage. I also was shown that there are subtle differences between the present tense forms and the past tense forms and how they are close but not quite the same as shown in the worksheet. I do like the structure forms and usages as they help me get them fixed in my head and let me know usages and forms that I have as habit that will need to be illustrated to students.
