Lesson planning is a very important component of teaching as it ensures the materials are covered accurately and on schedule. This ensures the students learn the appropriate material at the appropriate times. Proper notes are recommended as they show what has been covered with the students allowing a substitute to step in or for the next teacher to know where to pick up. This unit definitely explained clearly why lesson plans are so very important.I am very interested in classroom management. This is an area that I am constantly very critical of other teachers. For me this is the most important aspect of teaching. When the class becomes unruly, or when other students talk on top of their classmates everything really starts to break down and fall apart. A teacher could know a subject very well, but if he or she can not control the classroom it is a total waste. I really enjoyed this lesson.
