The unit gives very useful information regarding the present tenses. It explains the functions and also the ways to formulate the positive, negative and interrogative sentences. Having this information will be very useful for the teachers to be able to teach these present tenses effectively in his or her classes. The information provided in the unit can also provide solutions for questions that may be asked by the students whenever they get confused in using the tenses.This unit provided a good overview of potential issues that may arise in ones first few months of teaching initially and when taking on new classes. Good examples were given with regards to activities for the teacher to first complete during a first lesson, examples to engage reluctant students was also useful. further, the examples on how to deal with large classes were ideal as i imagine in many countries classes may be larger than anticipated due to population sizes.
