This unit illuminated many different methods of organizing a class that i find very helpful and inspiring. As i was completing the unit i found myself imagining different classroom scenarios and how i would organize different activities mentioned in the unit. I enjoyed the video presentation on this unit as well, and look forward to putting these techniques into practice in order to established a conducive environment in which my future students can learn with enthusiasm.This unit was an excellent review of how a sentence is separated out, and how words relate to each other in a sentence. For example, I use adverbs in sentences, but I rarely think about why it's there or what it's specific function is. The adverb shouldn't be confused with an adjective, even though the two are similar depending on the sentence. It's important to be able to explain this difference to the student, and this unit helps to remind the teacher how to explain it.
