Modal auxiliary verbs, relative clauses, passive voice and phrasal verbs are discussed in this unit. Starting with the modal auxiliary verbs, their basic usages and example formation sentences in both present and past tenses are described. Passive voice, its form and usage are highlighted briefly. Relative clauses and their type, i-e, defining and non-defining are also explained with the help of sentences. For me Phrasal verbs are always a matter of confusion.This content reviewed evaluation and testing and discussed the different types of testing available. It is helpful to consider what degree of help someone can give when second language learners often look for native language speakers to help them prepare for exams. I found the different levels and discussion of what each exam is for to be very helpful, since I'm living in a foreign country and have been approached on more than one occasion to help people study.
