This unit furthers the guidance on how one can teach productive skills. This lesson covers writing and speaking. The lesson was particularly helpful in that it addressed how writing tends to be the more neglected of the two skills. Yet covering writing within the classroom, as opposed to just via homework, is imperative in that writing requires a much higher degree of accuracy. Conversely, mistakes made in speaking can be immediately addressed.The unit 20 and last one, talks about common problems and situations that EFL teachers will eventually come across. These situations include first lessons, students at different levels allocated in the same class, large classes and of course the use of the student?s native tongue during the lesson.
This unit, provides some basic procedures and ideas of how to deal with every mentioned situation in order to get the best result from the class.
