I have learnt how to structure a lesson plan. I learnt that lesson planning is important to ensure that a class runs smoothly besides having fun! What I find great about a lesson plan is that the teacher can jot down all the important things he/she notes during the lesson in order to evaluate his/herself on how successful the lesson was later. Besides this, a teacher can also use his/her lesson plan to anticipate problems for students and the teacher.It was great seeing real life examples of how these teaching strategies are applied are very helpful and show me the important of the attitude of the teacher directly impacts the energy and participation level of the students. There is such a big difference between the first video and the second video and there were just small things the teacher did to have a big impact on the students which was being more positive, clearer and overall more effective.
