This unit covered the productive skills of speaking and writing. From this unit I had learned the differences between accuracy and fluency and the importance of practicing both. I understand how accuracy is associated with the study phase, because this is controlled by the teacher and should therefore be practicing correctness, and fluency is associated with the activate phase because it should encourage confidence and creativity, therefore, the content of the output should be created by the student.I particularly enjoyed watching the second video as it was effective in showing the power of body language. The difference in attitude of the students changed dramatically when the teacher was more positive and less intimidating. I have been in classes similar to the first video and in my experience it is very difficult to learn anything when the teacher is not positive, I think that is because at a subconscious level if it seems like the teacher doesn't want to be there than neither will the student.
