This unit was very helpful at providing an understanding of how to teach different aspects of the English language. The concrete examples were great. I think it's valuable to learn teaching strategies for different aspects in the english language. I also found it valuable to understand the different things of each category student should learn. The activity was also helpful because it puts your mind in the role of a teacher to create an ESA framework for teaching different lessons.I have learned a lot in this unit and have enjoyed learning authentic, non-authentic materials, as I always use newspapers, magazines and other authentic materials during my lessons. Lesson planning was very interesting indeed.
This unit has shown a clear path throughout. I have always prepared materials at my work place and this unit helped me to take my ideas to the next level. As per my experience, my students enjoy using both authentic and non-authentic materials each lesson.
