Passive voice is the most fascinating of all the parts of English to teach and frustrating because it is used so much in my current country's language. Some very common errors that I encounter do include students who never separate transitive separable phrasal verbs or mix up their phrasal verbs with the following adverbs, prepositions, etc. The charts included in the reading are very helpful in making them easier to list and parse down for the students, and certainly better organized than any charts I have made thus far.Speaking and writing complete the four basic linguistic skills. Some may argue speaking will possibly come in more handy for students in the future, but that is no reason for neglecting writing, as what is written cannot in most cases be modified or corrected, unlike when a speaker make s a verbal mistake which he/ she can immediately correct.
