Unit 7 covered three basic areas vocabulary, grammar and language functions. In each of the three areas I learned what one must be aware of when selecting things like, vocabulary that is suitable to the particular class you are teaching. One must look at is it appropriate to the student and the task?
The unit also provided techniques for teaching grammar, vocabulary and language functions in each of the possible ESA lessons, straight arrow, boomerang and patch work.An overview of Unit 17 Teaching special groups appeared relatively straight forward, whilst admittedly feeling a little despondent I perfectly understood the unit as to whether or not that transfers to correct answers remains to be seen, all in all I have found this course to be worth while and educational. I failed miserably on a handful of units due to not taking an exam in over 30 years, misreading questions and venturing into areas totally out of my comfort zone.
