In this unit, I learned different ways to teach this if sentences and reported speech and I also learned the exact names of the different types of if sentences. Teaching the exact differences between the different if sentences may prove difficult and I will have to use many theoretical situations and images/videos as supplements to my lessons. Teaching reported speech should be easier as the students will just have to remember what the tense changes are.This lesson had more to it than just teaching productive skills. It was very much focused on general tips for effective teaching. The content of the lesson had a lot from previous ones which it makes it easier to memorize some basic rules of language teaching. As always, I enjoyed the examples of typical lessons dedicated to writing or speaking. Their are definitely easier to adapt and implement than general theoretical knowledge on the topic. Thank you!
