This unit illuminates us the various reasons and motives of reading and listening,and divide them into two main categories.Thus helping us to understand better on reansons of why, how, and what we are reading or listening. How to arrange the lesson for students to improve their receptive skills are what we most concerned ,fortunately, the example in this unit inspired me for it.Currently,I have clearified the main points of receptive skills and enabled to settle my lesson individually and logically.It is not only important to have a sound knowledge of the english language, but also to know how to relate to students. In order to have a successful lesson and orderly classroom a teacher must be prepared, consistent and enthusiastic about teaching. A good teacher will take the time to get to know the students by knowing their names, interests and varied levels of english. It is the teachers responsibility to recognize the students needs and tailor lessons and plan the classroom layout accordingly.
