Finding a careful balance between being amiable yet still in charge within a group is a wonderful trait to adopt, as students respond best to a firm yet friendly mentor.In this unit I learned how to form the past simple affirmative by adding the ed or d to the base form of the verb and that it is used for actions completed at a definite time in the past .Past continuous form is subject +was/were+verb+ing and can be used for interrupted past actions.Past perfect form subject +had +past participle and ideas such as story telling/writing to get students to use these tenses.Past perfect continuous is not commonly used or taught but is needed to talk about longer actions in the past that had been going on continuously.
