The unit mainly focused on the various equipment and teaching aids that are commonly used in the classroom. It outlined a number of resources that are used in the teaching field. These include white or black boards, visual aids, worksheets, computers, dictionaries, course books and online resources. The unit also focused on the advantages and disadvantages of using such resources. I learnt about the different equipment's that are used in schools and through the advantages and disadvantages l managed to pick out which tools are more effective than the others. It is crucial to note that all the equipment's are important but however some are more useful depending on the task at hand. For example the use of pictures would be ideal in the Engage phase and one can not use worksheets in this stage. Therefore l learnt that different aids serve different purposes and are used in different stages.
