This unit talks about the different types of conditionals. The zero which has the if and when form with the present tense. The First conditional has the if,will and the present simple tense. The second conditional has the if, past simple would,have ,might etc.the third conditional has the past perfect would,could with the past participle.and the mixed has the if and past perfect would conditionals. This unit also talks about the split tenses, the direct and reported speeches..Unit 7 discussed how to build ESA lessons around introducing new language through usage of vocabulary. It explained how vocabulary can be more difficult to teach than according to the language levels of students. The unit also discusses factors of how to choose vocabulary by whether the word is similar to the words of the student's native tongue, if the English word is similar to the student's own language, the spelling plus pronounciation, and whether the word is appropriate.
