This lesson provided an overview of the business teaching area. It described for the roles of the teacher and also provided a discussion of both classroom settings and one to one settings. It reviewed the ESA approach along with the other methodologies that have been developed along the way to ESA. Lots of advantages and disadvantages were provided to each arena. For me, this unit feels like an Engage lesson to get me thinking about teaching business english.This unit was very informative as it centered around the modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice, as well as a short overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. During the cause of the unit, we discussed the basic rules, ready made sentences, and charts. Furthermore, teaching ideas (such as role plays) to create an engaging and interesting learning environment were suggested. I found this unit more challenging than the rest and may have to study more.
