This unit focuses on teaching themes and their application in the Business English field. It begins by describing the use of case studies during lessons, providing a detailed step-by-step process and a sample case study. Then, the unit describes frameworking in a similar way, once again providing a detailed guide and sample data to illustrate the theory. The next theme discussed in the same style is the Problem-based Learning style; after that, the unit moves on to more creative themes such as implementing Games and Computer-Aided Language Learning. For both there are examples given as well as sample materials provided. The last theme to be discussed is the Speech Act Theory, with examples on how it can be implemented into Business English teaching. Finally, the last part of the unit consists of three, detailed sample lesson plans, each dealing with a different level and a different issue.
