This unit taught me about Part of speech; the different main grammar groups of the English language. I learned that every sentence consists by a subject, a verb and usually an object. To make the sentences more interesting and varied, we fill them up with other words that each have their own role in the sentence depending on which grammar group they belong to. There are different rules on how to build up a sentence, on which order the words should be in, and which tense and form they should have. What group a word belongs to can also affect other words of the sentence. The unit is listing regular versus irregular verbs and auxiliaries. In all, this unit consists of nine grammar groups; nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. They all consists of different rules and sub categories which is briefly and easily explained with good examples.
