Unit 5: Lesson Planning is essential to my profession as an educator. I've been reminded that lesson plan is an aid to planning, a working document, and a record. I've also learned how to write a lesson plan and what should be included in it. I believe that organizing the lesson is one of the important roles of the teacher. Furthermore, I've personally learned that planning a sequence of lessons will aid in the success of the lesson. Including the following issues such as flexibility by updating the lessons based on the needs of the students is important. In addition, creating goals, readiness to make revisions and considering variety and balance when planning a sequence of lessons to make sure that all skills are included and given an equal treatment should be used religiously. It will ensure that all lessons planned are well organized and it will be accomplished at the end of each lesson.
