I have gather quiet a lot of useful information from this unit;
-The qualities of good teacher,these qualities are reflected in two different levels,the teacher's personality and his relationship with the learners.While the teacher's personality(puntuality, kindness, patience, entertaining etc) are important, his/her rapport with the learners is even more important.
-The qualities of a good learner. Besides motivation,a good learner should be courageous and willing to challenge his/hersrself in English, be willing to accept his/her mistakes and not feel discouraged by the lack of immediate progress.
Summarily, what I picked from this unit is; the success of the teaching and leanring process is a combination of the efforts of both the teacher and the learner.However, a \"student centred\" approach where a teacher is more of a facilitator than a tutor is more efficient and therefore recommended.
