I have been excited about the prospects of teaching English for several years now. I was not nervous about being in front of a class, but I still lacked knowledge on how to structure my lessons. This Unit helped me to start seeing what my classroom could be like. I particularly like the Patchwork ESA lesson plan because it provides more freedom during the lesson. I also think that it would be more useful for longer length classes. I also very much enjoy all the games and activities listed. I always have had fun playing games like that myself, and I know quite a few that I can add to the list to keep my classroom enjoyable. I also noticed from this Unit, that my teachers and professors of foreign languages have used very similar methods in their classrooms. I hope that I can use what I have observed from them and what I have read in this course to create even more efficient lesson plans.
