This was probably the most difficult of the units so far! Honestly, as a teacher and native speaker, some of this material can befuddle me a bit. Accordingly, no wonder asian language speakers have such difficulty with English, particularly aspects like these. Take question 18, for example. In what world does \"Kate asked John if he was working tomorrow\" make sense? Was working tomorrow? Its not logical. Hopefully future units will cover some methodology about teaching these aspects of the language to students.This unit was about theories, methods, and techniques of teaching. This has been the most helpful unit, thusfar. It has given me great ideas as to how to structure a lesson plan that will be engaging to the students, keep them actively involved, and give them time to practice what they are learning.
I appreciate how it gives multiple ways to place the different aspects (Engage, Study, Active), which provides structure while still allowing for creativity and on my part as I can personalize it to my future class.
