This unit covered the role of course books for teaching English in the classroom. It covers the pros and cons of following the course book material and how the information can be adapted to the teacher's own lesson. The main thing this unit got me to consider is how to use the information and activities from the course book within the ESA framework. I feel like a lot of the course book material would be set aside in place of the teacher's own created activities and lessons.I did not know there is a business group who wants to study English for their work needs. It could be really hard to teach business group as they will be all aged people, which means most of them could be older than me. It could be really hard for a young teacher to teach experised people as they might not want to take time on one topic as they want to learn as fast as they can due to their time limit, which is very hard for a teacher to go over the difficult topic or grammar.
