This unit explains about technique to teach different type of classes. The first type is beginners. It is important to be as visual as possible and giving clear, simple instructions. The second type is individual students. It is obvious that there are many classroom activities that is not possible to implement in this one-to-one lesson. However, there are also many advantages. We have to maximize students' interests by using quizzes, short stories, relevant articles, and discussing recent trends. The next type is teaching children. We have to do lots of repetition and using higher pitch to attract interests. Be prepared to make fun of yourself to engage them and preparing reward stickers because kids love it! Lastly, I have learnt how to teach Business English. We have to examine needs analysis before we start teaching in order to understand what kind of language point that they need the most to improve.
