I learned about the various categories of beginner students, the differences between teaching individual students and groups including the advantages and disadvantages. In 'Teaching Children' I also learned about about the life continuum and how that relates to teaching children in the classroom along with my duties and responsibilities per 'In Loco Parentis'. There were many do's and don'ts in this section some which which could also be applied to adult learners. Inspite of the many potential difficulties in teaching children it was mentioned that many teachers have found that this has been the most rewarding experience of their teaching careers. Business English is a growing area and because of the nature of the learners needs analsis and negotiations need to be conducted, more flexibility has to be allowed due to pressure from work, home, tiredness etc. which will effect the classroom and homework.
