This chapter explained the 7 future tenses, discussed their usages, and gave some examples for practicing and teaching the tenses. The English future tenses are more confusing than the present or past tenses, so it is important to have a good knowledge of their function and uses. Therefore, I felt this chapter was important and helpful, particularly in explaining the specific usages of each tense. I noted these and will keep them in mind in my future classes, should the students have questions.The content of this unit presents in a concise yet representative way the forms, usage and learning methods of the past tenses. In particular, I appreciate the explanations related to time - the duration, sequence and development of actions in time - and its influence on the usage of various tenses. It is also very useful to read about most common mistakes which students are likely to make. Last but not least, suggested methods of familiarising students with the past tenses are also very handy.
