This unit was about teaching special groups. It included teaching various knowledge levels, teaching children and teaching business English. This unit was well explained and gave good advice and a variety of topics. The possible problems that could be encountered were also helpful to note down for future. In the 'teaching children' section, a statement was made about boredom in the class being the teachers fault. I do not agree. Being a teacher means teaching 8 to 10 lessons a day, having a certain amount of material to cover in a certain time and teaching a variety of ages and levels. Sometimes, a lesson will not be as fun or exciting as others because that's just the material that needs to be covered. Some kids love grammar while others don't. I feel, as a teacher, that try as I might, not every lesson can excite and entertain each of the 32 learners in my class every day of the year. That's not my fault.
