This unit talked about the various materials and equipment a teacher can use in a classroom. Nowadays, teachers have a large number of technologies to use to aid in the learning process. These technologies can be used very well and bring a new level of English into the classroom. The internet can be accessed in the classroom, which essentially provides a teacher with a seemingly unlimited source of material. However, the teacher should not rely completely on the internet and should be be encouraged to bring other materials in.
In my opinion, I think some of the equipment options listed (cassette player, CD player, overhead projector) are outdated and should only be used if the classroom lacks the \"new\" technology. Or perhaps if you wanted to talk about the past you could bring in a VCR. I acknowledge the importance of how to prepare these equipments but I think they should be viewed as \"back-up\" options.
