After reviewing the information in this unit, I feel as though I have a better understanding on different techniques and methods to teaching all age groups and levels of understanding. I know the process to planning out and using an Engage, Study, Activate technique. First, you want to engage the students to get them involved with using English to interact with their peers and get them interested in the lesson we are going to focus on for that day. Then at that point once you have their interest you will then you will get the students to focus on the language point being taught, while giving them worksheets or practice points to check their understanding of that material. Finally you will have the students actively use the knowledge they learned and put it into motion with either role playing, or communicative games between students to get them actively using the lesson taught to see how well it is understood.
