The unit was centred around two major topics that is reported speech and conditionals. Conditionals are described as sentences containing 'if 'or similar expressions such as 'when' that refer to past , present and future possibilities. The unit focused on the main conditionals and these are zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional , third conditional and mixed conditional. It focused on how these conditionals are formed and their usage. The unit also covered ground on direct and reported speech. Basically l learnt about the usage of conditionals. For example l learnt that when dealing with zero conditional there is usually a condition and a consequence and that it may be used to refer to actions that are refutable. I also learnt about the different learning skills that are a teacher can incorporate when teaching conditionals, these include split sentences, chain conditionals and what a question.
