I think the most blaringly obvious difference between the first and second videos is the teacher's attitude. I loved being able to observe, from a third-party perspective, the huge role the teacher plays in leading a successful or unsuccessful learning environment. The first video highlighted how a teacher's attitude and approach can completely disillusion the students and create an atmosphere of anxiety and trepidation. The second lesson exuded a completely different vibe: the teacher's initial smile and jovial attitude engaged the class and made them feel at ease. The fact that the teacher took the time to get each student's name and truly incite interest from them attests to the importance of personality and approachability. Although the second lesson may not have been perfect, some students did not fully understand the instructions, it encouraged students to engage and motivated them to continue their studies.
