Teaching different groups is something that english teachers will get us to and we need to find different strategies in order to approach them and let them learn from you as much as possible. For example, teaching english will require shorter span activities, games and props/flashcards/others to input and practice the langue. Teaching adults might be less challenging since they are self motivated, however, it requires preparation as usual. Teaching can also be one to one or a group of students and specific strategies can help to approach them differently and the lesson was really useful on that. Teaching multilingual or monolingual groups can also change the strategy of the group as the former have different backgrounds and can benefit from probably being living/studying at a english speaking country and the latter may benefit the teacher in having a group of students with more or less the same cultural background.
